[help] custom weapon floating :c

bassically my sword is working properly but when in hand it just floats beside my hand, anyone knows what might cause?

i feel like this is a really dumb question but i really dont know what to do, im using spriter and no matter where i put it on in spriter it always goes back to that position in-game, i also set the center to be on the handle but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

the problem is not in code because this only started happening after i messed with the sprites, it shows fine in inventory and on the ground.

i'm not that great with spriter issues but you could possibly try moving the pivot(red dot) in spriter onto the handle if its at the top left. I don't know if this would help or not, but worth a try I guess

I managed to fix it, the pivot was indeed the issue but i had to set it on the properties of the file instead of simply moving it.
