HoveringOnions Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Me and my Brother both own DST, but when we try to use the same PC to get both of our gifts, only one of would get all 4, and when the other tried, they never got any. Is there a way to use 1 PC to get both steam accounts the ability to open all 4 of their weekly gifts? Its not a shared copy of DST, we both own our on seperate copy.. Does running his specific DST game work since if I use mine the files may classify it as me who has done them and not him but not give him gifts? He doesn't care for them, but that just means he can give me them when my trade ban for buying DST is gone. I havent used Steam since like 2013, so I forgot my password, so I had to change it which gave me a ban to "protect" my steam inventory, which had nothing to trade anyways. Then buying DST gave me a ban to the community market so that I didn't tradeback in 30 days so I can't buy off the market or trade off my DST copy until 11th October. My brother is in Vegas and since he can't play with me, I am trying to get his gifts for me when my ban is lifted. I am at my brothers house, since we don't live together but I am his house whilst he's gone since its roomy there and he's got a faster PC. Also, its a nice thing to know, you never know, just because its a new computer, doesn't mean it could work tomorrow. I tried deleting my local content and logged on to my brothers account and now am online on a world waiting for a bit with all recipes unlocked. Gonna see if he gets them on the same PC I got all mine on friday + saturday. I am on a different account entirely, deleted local content and reinstalled DST. What else could I do to try and make it get both gifts on 1 PC? I don't like making multiple accounts on PC for downloading the same thing but DST would be an exception since it doesn't take up much memory. I don't know, but I don't think so... Once you first try to conhnect to DST it asks you to register, right? I think that's where you get your ID, and you can't change it... I might be completely wrong though, I don't know much regarding DST. I got a Spiffy, 2 commons and a Classy last week, and the week before a classy, 2 commons and a distinguished. Not bad, to be honest.
