giantfoodmonster Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Hey just wondering, was hosting a server for beginners, being one myself, and had a willow run straight to camp and burn down the entire thing. I am thinking no big deal because it is easy enough to roll back the server, but how do i ban the player... noticed a ban tab when setting up the world but no way to interact with it. Is there anyway to do a global pause? I saw a thread that someone from klei posted saying they had plans for it, but don't know if it got implemented there or if it was going to be in the ps4 version at some point. I've seen the option but didn't know what it was. Just a backup save? Im not certain but Id assume the ban option is somewhere under the options you get from hitting R3 or right analog stick. About the ban...I would like to see this option as well. It's not like I can't make the server password protected, but I want to be public so other players can join and play with me. But when someone hammer your base, to have the option to ban him forever from your server. Developer CharlesB Posted September 30, 2016 Developer Share Posted September 30, 2016 Hi giantfoodmonster If you're the one hosting the server then you can kick/ban players from the player listing. - Press R3 to open the Social menu - Select "Player Listing" - Highlight the problem player and press either the Kick or Ban button. You can manage banned players from the ban tab you noticed in the world options. Is there a way to see your own servers ping if you're the host?
