brutosaur Posted September 20, 2016 Share Posted September 20, 2016 Im a new user on this forum and this is my first post so i didnt know exactly where to put the thread. So i was playing a new game in dont starve as wolfgang today from day 1 to day 26 and then i decided to take a break for a while so i closed the game and then when i started playing again i saw that the save file with wolfgang was on day 1.... seems like it didnt save at all, anyway i tried to delete the save file and then restart the game and when i come back i see that the save file with wolfgang is still on day 1 even though i made efforts to delete the file. I have played this game a lot and this is the first time that this has happened to me. also i should say that i have a legal copy of all dont starve game and expansions. Mobbstar Posted September 20, 2016 Share Posted September 20, 2016 You can wipe the savefiles by going to your Documents, Klei and DoNotStarve, then looking for the file "saveindex", which contains, as the name suggests, a list of save files. By deleting this, all your worlds will become empty slots again, even if their respective savefiles are still in the same folder as the saveindex was.
