Hello, everyone! It seems I'm going to continue my endeavour to make my character mods. I'm really getting near the point I wanted to be in but I still have issues with my creatures so I'll dedicate this thread to that (to avoid making a dozen posts about a few creatures every now and then). I hope I won't have too many of these issues especially because I don't want to annoy any of you. Nevertheless, I hope people can benefit from this thread.

So today's big issue is walking/running! My creatures CAN walk and run at their respective speeds BUT when they are wandering and the distance between the leader and the follower increases (i.e. you run away from them) the creatures do not run as expected but continue walking. It seems like they are stuck in their wandering behaviour and as a result continue to walk. How to break this entrapment? They DO run if you wait for them to stop wandering and THEN the leader distances himself.

I'll provide one of my creature's files here:

caterpillar_thibaudbrain.lua (Brain) (!!)

caterpillar_thibaud.lua (Prefab) (only should you feel the need to check the locomotor)

SGcaterpillar_thibaud.lua (Stategraph) (!!)

Thanks in advance!

Here this might make it better? I dunno.

caterpillar_thibaudbrain.lua

Thank you for the quick reply!

Unfortunately, that doesn't help. Could it be related to the priority node thing? I don't know much about brains to be honest.

Edit: hang on, I used your file wrongly, give me a sec ;)

Edit 2: nope, still doesn't work. I did have to edit your file a bit so it doesn't crash but I didn't really edit your changes. You can have a look at it. Could the distance values be the issue here? caterpillar_thibaudbrain.lua
