[Request] Traveling to caves while riding domesticated beefalo

Hello.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a small mod that enables players to travel to the caves while riding a beefalo? Right now if I ride one I only have the option to inspect the sinkhole. I have tried to spawn a domesticated beefalo using this command posted by DarkXero while in the caves and there was no crash, so it is working fine, I could ride the beefalo around the cave system.

I am wondering why it isn't possible to do this already in the game. Is it he same reason for which we can't bring Chester to the caves with us? I guess it's about transferring the entity and it's inventory between shards? I am not sure.

The reason I would love to have the option to bring my domesticated beefalo to the caves is because then I would have an actual reason to even tame one, besides using it to bring the head statues to the marble clockworks and just forget about them afterwards. Beefalo taming seems like a rather endgame thing to do, kind off similar to the ruins, so these two seem to have a really good synergy! 

So as a bottom line, I would really love to know if it would be difficult or not to have a small mod that enables a player to get to the caves with their domesticated beefalo as I have found none in the steam workshop.

Not about entity inventory. Modded companions like Personal Chesters or Freki do go between shards. It's about logic, I believe. While a small chester may follow down a sinkhole (though it's hard, small feetsies), something as big as beefalo isn't likely to. I suppose you can always spawn a beefie downstairs and tame it there.

@DarkXero thank you! I actually missed that part of the mod. I kept wanting a few stuffs from rezecibs balance mod separately but with this occasion I will subscribe and use it entirely.  Hopefully it is going to work smoothly on the beta branch.
