augusty Posted July 31, 2016 Share Posted July 31, 2016 whenever I start a don't starve game, i always start in spring. i don't want to start in spring. i want to start in autumn so i have more time to prepare for other seasons without so much rain. I read up on the wiki and it had said there's a 50% chance to spawn in spring. that's weird since almost ever time i start in spring. is there a way to change this? my brother suggested I go into world options and change the starting season. the only options are summer and winter. could this just be bad luck..? i happen to have little to no luck when making worlds lol spawning always with tall bird nests interfering between my base and other biomes, taking a while to find beefalos, large swamps ect. I usually change world options to cope with my luck by increasing the amount of beefalos, ect. but the seasons don't seen to be an option. anything i'm doing wrong? a mod changes this? I have all the dlcs if that means anything. please help. i don't happen to have this problem on DST. Thanks! If the Starting Seasons options in the World Customization are only Summer or Winter then you are playing Don't Starve Vanilla. If you're getting Spring then you're playing with Reign of Giants enabled, you just have to change the starting season to Autumn in the World Options. (World Customization) Just make sure you apply your new world customizations. Cheers.
