Uploading a mod/ Editing a Mod

Let's say I wanted to update one of my mods how do I do that exactly? When I go to the mod uploader it says edit and when I do try to edit them it just say "mod cannot have the same modinfo"

explain "updating" as in change the file ? because right now I click on my new updated folder with all the changes hit all the checkboxes and when I click Publish it say Error mod cannot have the same modinfo. and when I try to change my modinfo into something new it still say the same thing.

In modinfo.lua, you have a version number. Increase the version. Then upload again.
