averagecitizen
I was expecting that DST would feature local co-op, and I have to say I am very disappointed that it doesn't. I know Klei isn't responsible for my misapprehension, but I also know they read this forum, so put me down as very interested if this is a feature that might be added. GuyNamedChris
What, you mean LAN or split screen? Because DST fully supports LAN servers, and the console version is going to include split screen. averagecitizen
Local co-op has never meant lan. Split screen would be fine, but I don't understand why everybody assumes those are the only options. There are 15+ years of co-op games where two players share the same screen. Diablo III's very successful console version plays that way. It would be a good fit for DST. Well like I said, the console version of DST (not released yet) is going to include split-screen co-op Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/68721-misapprehension/#findComment-791033 Share on other sites

LAN literally means Local Area Network, and when I see a PC game say it has local co-op I never assume it means split-screen play. And I don't think there's really a ton of demand for two or more people being able to play simultaneously on the same box that generally sits at a one-person desk.
