Snowhusky5 Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 I just now noticed how there is no longer a bunch of saplings and grass tufts scattered around the cave entrances like there used to be. Was this changed at some point? I haven't played since before the update that added alternate resources. As far as I can tell, those resources are (almost?) completely absent from the 'grassy' cave biome, where before they were fairly plentiful; now the biome only contains trees and ferns. If the caves are in the regular grass and saplings year they seem to work like normal though. I guess the resources in the caves aren't synced with the forest then, because in the server I was playing on there were regular grass tufts and saplings on the surface...
