Multi meat pickup?

I'll just get right to the point!

Sometimes, when I pick up monster meat, with another piece right next to it, I pick up both pieces of Monster meat at the same time.

Even though it lays a couple meters from said piece. Is this some new Multi-loot system or is it some kind of bug?

I don't mind it i'm just a bit curious

I think it is mostly implemented for lag/entitiy reduction purposes, so game naturally tries to stack items nearby in one pile to reduce visual lag on server.

Same as you leave hound's teeth around hound trap area and come back to it next time all teeth are stacked!

As a server owner, I really appreciate those little things that help lag xD. Some of you guys, on other hand, might think it is OP/ makes game easier, but in reality it's not that significant of a deal.

Monster meat, hound's tooth and rot have a selfstacker component that does that.

I'm not entirely sure why it sometimes selfstacks while picking it up (it happens mostly when the inventory is full, including the active item on the mouse). Based on the code, it seems to be designed to selfstack when an entity is waking up (i.e. you are approaching the area from far away).
