I have a dedicated on the same PC I play, I have a small base. a time that will be playing begins fps drop, I have to leave and return the game to improve fps, single way to improve a little FPS game on the base. area outside the base the fps is high. is there any solution to this problem? sorry my english. Zillvr Posted June 12, 2016 Share Posted June 12, 2016 Hello @briancordeiro, welcome to the forums. Are you perhaps running the Minimap mod? That mod it's very resource intensive that it usually lags the game when there are too many things rendering on the minimap. There could be other mods that could be causing this for you so reducing the number of mods could also help. Although if you don't have any mods on at all, then I'd recommend you try and enable the small textures in the Options menu. I hope that helps at least, cheers. I only have one mod "combined status", there is some monitoring option. I can see this sudden drop in fps. I'm already with small textures option enabled. Although I'm not tech savvy enough to determine if it actually is. Can you attach the client_log.txt from Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether in your next reply? Can you also attach two screenshots of what you see in-game with the debug screen opened (pressing Backspace in game)? One screenshot when you're in your camp and another screenshot where your FPS is better. The debug screen maybe be able to help determine the cause. I also have this very annoying problem (which is growing fast while your base becomes bigger, now I can't play more than 5 or 10 minutes without disconnect and reconnect) and I have tried to post on the bug section of this forum (here) with all logs & video, but I still have no anwser... I have just try the "small texture" option, but it seems to have no major effect on the lag and the image is absolutely awfull with it.
