Looking for help.

Recommended Posts

Hello I played Don't starve when it first came out, but took a very long break. I've now come back and bought both the Giants and Ship DLC. So I have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer.

1 ) Why is everything so.. blurry? Not the HUD (?) but everything else. Screen shot to show you what I mean/one with my settings. ( I have two screens and don't know how to take a picture of just one. Sorry. ) http://imgur.com/zQ7VXHm / http://imgur.com/m6hDoBQ

2 ) What is all this about coloured clothing and how do I get it?!

3 ) Anything I should know about?

Thanks in advance, forgive me for being so noobly.

I don't know about the blurryness, but it usually is due to netbook mode or small textures to be turned on, but yours are both disabled, so that's pretty weird...

The "colored clothing" are skins, but they're only available in Don't Starve Together, the multiplayer counterpart of Don't Starve. You can get 4 of them dropped per week, and there are varying clothes and rarities.

Regarding the blurry in-game graphics, do you happen to have an older AMD Radeon graphics card? If so, go to your AMD Catalyst Control Center (CCC) and set the application mipmap settings to "Quality" instead of "Performance and that will smooth up the graphics.

If you have a newer AMD Radeon card, the CCC will have setting called "Texture Filtering Quality" - You'll find the option under 3D Application Settings - change the setting to "High Quality", accept the change, and run Don't Starve.
