Karmattack
Skins seem kind of pointless a lot of the time since armor covers it up, I think there should be a feature implemented where you can get the benefits of armor but have the option to not visually show the armor in order to better see the skins. Maybe make this option unavailable in PVP though, it's already unbalanced enough without people being able to trick you by not being able to see what they have equipped. KitcheVadimas
Maybe have whatever skin you have in the chest slot affect how your armor appears? Dunno if this is really possible though, given how item appearances seem to work. Arlesienne
It would be enough if you couldn't see whatever you're wearing in your chest slot (except for amulets and backpacks), this extending to head (if you play a character with a survivor, GoH or shadow head). ScootyPuffJr
I tend to spend 95% or more of my time running around without any armor on, only equipping it when I'm about to go into combat or entering a particularly dangerous area, so personally I'm not sure that this is a high priority. It would still be nice though for some of the more combat-oriented characters as an option. And yeah, this would be pretty terrible on a PVP server, lol. I would assume that it just wouldn't display the armor at all if this feature were enabled and you had any skins equipped. That would be bad, possibly gamebreaking to PvP, and also bad for PvE, because you need to see what armor your friends or foes are wearing, so you can act accordingly. Give a noob your spare logsuit, run from the theculite - wearer. For PVE I feel it wouldn't be too much of an issue though, since you have other ways to coordinate and examining someone would presumably reveal what they actually have equipped. Considering that many games have managed to implement glamor systems, or fashion slots for equipment to override your stat-granting armor, I think this could work. People will often run around with their backpack and a sanity regen hat until fighting breaks out anyway, so I don't know that this would present a considerably increased roadblock to coordinating before a fight.
