Are we allowed to post mods that contain M-Rated profanity? Either here or on the workshop?

I know there are rules against using such language in the forums but I can't find any specific rules pertaining to its use in mods.

So there might be a very select few of you out there that know of my character mod; "Ellie" (From 'The Last of Us"). You may also know there are, or rather were, two versions of the mod; Censored and Uncensored. The uncensored version, to my and several of my subscribers lament, was banned from the workshop. I received no reason why beyond "A violation of terms" despite several failed attempt to find out why (Steam's support it absolute garbage for that kind of thing), though I assume it was the use of some of the more 'R-Rated' words. At the time I had pretty much burnt myself out for modding and said "the hell with it, as long as one version is up that's good enough right?"

However, now that I've finally updated the mod to be compatible with Shipwrecked, I find myself wanting to at least offer it to my subscribers in some way. I've considered re-uploading it to the workshop but fear that it will not only be banned again, but count as another tick against me and possibly place my steam account in jeopardy. Which brings me back to my original question; would it be safe to post here? Or would it not be allowed on this site either? Or does anyone know if steam has lightened up?

Any info or direction any of you could offer would be greatly appreciated. In the mean time, good day and good modding!

omg, lockheart! I remember waaaaaayyy back when I saw Ellie in the workshop, I was like insta download haha! But yeah then the censored version got removed and I was like "Hehehueheueh I still have it" but that sucks though :/

Sorry that I couldn't be of much help! I guess you can always go with the censored version.
