Hosting Lan Game Accidentally No Caves

Is there anyway I can easily add caves to my regular lan game that I started up in game we just realized hours later caves were turned off.

I'm not sure this will work, but I guess it's worth a shot. Try making a new save with caves and copying over the missing files into your old save. Don't forget to modify some of the settings files, you'll just have to copy a couple of lines from the other save's settings so that the servers 'see' each other. Also you might have to spawn in new sinkholes in your overworld server, although I'm really not 100% sure.

@JohaneBrote idea is great. Get your save files, save them somewhere. Create a new server with caves, start and stop it again. Overwrite the new overworld save files with your old ones. Start the server again and type "c_reregisterportals" (remote command or directly into the shell). The command connects the caves exits and entrances with eachother.

@werlpolf Yeah, much simpler that way (a lot less stuff needs to be modified). ^^; 

And that's a great command to remember by the way, I did not know that. I'll definitely use that one in the future.
