The Irony of Wilbur

Recommended Posts

I find it ironic that Wilbur is extremely powerful in RoG and somewhat lackluster in SW (depending on your playstyle.) One of his calling cards (and drawbacks) is that he can go from a walk to a run. This obviously makes land based exploring extremely efficient once you're done looting. However he can't hit run speed in boats and for me with islands generally being reasonably sized I find being able to travel at sea quickly infinitely more valuable. His monkey kinship is useful but I've learned to abuse monkeys without Wilbur's perk. Throwing poop in RoG is a godsend for Koalefant hunting, but in SW it's effectiveness is once again limited. Plus, I'm not sure about you but because of summer in SW not having combustion, but just withering makes farms useless for a season because you can't fertilize them.  Overall a good character but not the top SW one by a long shot. Sorry if this has been elaborated on haha

On the other hand he is one of the best in the ROG world. Makes it much easier to explore the world, kill tusky, get to the ruin, do stuff and etc.

Haha that was my point! Yeah I never remember exploring so much with any other character.
