Help With Item Mod for Character

I've been trying to create an item mod for my character, but every time I try to it crashes and tells me to check the log. I've been following this tutorial:

But I can't get the item to work no matter what. If it helps, the item is suppose to be a hairpin / hair accessory. Is there any steps I'm missing? I'm at a lost on what to do. The character works without the item though.

The item is called 'moonclip.'

This error is weird.

What's the last line in modmain for? It looks completely out of place. I believe you meant to use this at the end of "bunnie.lua".

"moonclip.lua" is missing the first line ("assets =")

I'm making progress. My character finally doesn't crash anymore on Character Select, but now I have a new error:

 

If it helps, this mod is actually for DST. I didn't realize there was a DST mod section until I checked, but I don't want to make duplicate threads.
