They take damage it needs about 5 seconds of them in the flame to kill them

Options (None easy, I think, but all workable, and most combinable) include:

1. Traps. Make 10-20 of them, space them reasonably far apart so they don't multi-trigger. Kite the whole mass through your trap field. Once you're down to one or two Warriors and not more than 5-10 total non-queen spiders, you can tackle it with spear and armor (warriors first, then kite regular spiders into a wedge form, whack the leader once and run, repeat until the wedge is skinny enough to double-whack the leader, then stun-and-whack until you have to kite them into a wedge again... Et c.) When you're down to the queen, maybe with one regular spider... Well, I'll get to that.

2. Forest fire. Snob's advice works here.

3. Fire Darts. Not good if they are near your base or a valuable forest.

4. Pig/Spider war. Recruit many pigs. Click on a spider to attack, then move or click on something else to cancel the attack. The pigs will charge the spider you attacked, resulting in all the spiders aggro'ing on the pigs, and then vice versa. The pigs won't last long, unless there's a lot of them, but they will probably thin out the spider numbers.

5. Pan Flute. Make 2 or 3. Sleep the whole bunch, target the warriors first, and get as many as you can while they are waking up. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

6. Tree Guard. Spawn one, then pacify him with pinecones, wait 3 days for him to get restless, then kite the spiders toward him. I haven't tried this. I just kill them for the logs & meat, now.

7. Bees. Plant a bee bomb between several hives and/or bee boxes, kite the group over the bee bomb, watch the carnage!

8. Tooth traps. You need a LOT of them. Pack 'em densely, and kite the whole group through. Better when used as below.

Once you have dealt with the majority of the little spiders, the queen is easy. Options here:

1. Time & fight. With good armor and a spear, it's not too hard. You can safely get in 2 hits between the queen's attacks, 3 or so when she's laying. You have to kill the small spiders as they spawn before dealing with the queen or you will die.

2. Tooth Traps. A bunch of these will kill the queen, and they also will slow her down a lot (she doesn't like walking through already-sprung tooth traps), so you can finish her off as in #1.

3. Pigs, bees, or Tree Guard (as above.)
