CassieCroft
Hey! So I have a dedicated server hosted with streamline. I access my server through their online file manager and have noticed the latest update has made some changes. Before the update I would simply edit the settings.ini folder to change the save slot and details about the server name etc. Now that has been renamed to settings.ini.old and seems to be replaced with 5 folders called Cluster 1, Cluster 2, Cluster 3, Cluster 4 and Cluster 5. Is there somewhere I can put my settings information so my old saved game can be resumed? My old saved game also had a second server running with it which was the slave server and had caves. Is this going to be an issue now? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Neuroplasticity
I've migrated my old dedicated server to the new folder format. Settings.ini doesn't seem to be referenced anymore. Settings are now split to either the global cluster.ini or the individual server.ini files. What I did: Follow Klei's Dedicated Server Quick Setup Guide. This is going to be your template. Compare your old overworld settings.ini w/ cluster.ini in the parent folder & server.ini in the Master folder. Update cluster.ini & server.ini accordingly. Copy over your "save" folders to their respective Master/save & Caves/save folders. Copy any modoverrides.lua or worldgenoverride.lua to their Master & Caves equivalents. Update launch scripts so they call the cluster & NOT the individual server. Instead of "-conf_dir CaveServerName -console", you'd have "-console -cluster ClusterName -shard Caves" Everything work after I migrated except adminlist.txt. Not sure if that's a bug or the game references a different file or was intentionally removed.
