[Suggestion] Heal your friends directly.

It would also be cool to have a few characters MADE for multiplayer, such as a white mage who is a squishy pacifist, but can heal others from a distance at a cost of sanity, and can craft expensive potions with several beneficial effects for himself and others. (Staff of healing, 10 uses, heals 50 hp per use, for 30 sanity out of 200, takes 1x blue gem, 6xgold, 1xbooster shot to craft?) For solo playing, he could rely on pigs and constantly healing them to deal with opponents.  Making him able to see the health of allies would be nice, too.  Players and pigs alike; feed them and see their health forever, unless you accidentally hit your friend in PvP.

Or a hungry gatherer (I guess Woody tries to fill this role) who mines/chops/gathers faster, but has Wes's damage debuff?

Maybe someone who is susceptible to weather, but can build somewhat better weather-faring clothes than the others with her sewing abilities, and/or has a slightly better sewing kit to craft?

Wigfrid makes a pretty good barbarian fighter type, and her ability to make armor/weaponry for everyone is great for multiplayer, so she's good, but she could use a stronger debuff that other players could fill.  Wolfgang makes a good fighter for multiplayer as well; having someone else bring him food that he forgot as he fights a long and arduous battle works well, I suppose.

 I've thought a lot about this idea, having 'classes' of a sort; characters who are built to benefit the team, but don't do well on their own.
