[Help] Pig Skin

Hi everyone.

 

I did a little research before posting my own topic, but I didn't find anything usefull. I'm currently struggling to find pig skin. I already hammered pigs head near the touch stone, and I build two Wildbore house with the loot.

 

But now, it seems that Wildbores don't loot pig skin anymore... and I need pig skin for multiple uses (umbrella, summer frest, spyglasses...).

 

Is there any solution to find pig skins ?

@ThePurplePanda, feed each Wildboars four Monster Meat to turn them into Werepigs, which always drops 2 Meat and 1 Pig Skin upon killing them. Once they start their transformation, start hitting them once they are fully Werepigs and howling. You can probably hit them about 4-5 times before they finish howling animation. Then kite them, 2-3 hits in between dodges.

The easiest but most counterproductive way would be to build a Hammer and destroy a wildbore House, as this will drop not only Pig Skins, but Boards and Cut Stone as well. Keep in mind that woldbores can no longer spawn while you have destroy one of their houses, and each house destroyed is one fewer wildbore spawning in that area. But you could also use the hammer on Headpikes
