Some of those mods were/are in the making, I know about three, two that you can download. Namely "Up & Away" and Hero in the Dark". You can find subforums for these two mods in the Don't Starve Mods section :D

As for making these, that's a whole other complicated story. Adding these on of content to a mod would require a relatively big and active team... U&A has been kind of slow due to inactivity and life-related stuff of the modders :T

its your choise  to take this challenge

Although I am always ready to write character examinations,  I don't think there'd be enough people willing to take on this challenge right now, mainly because there's not even a starting idea to go from. That's also why I recommended you to those pre-existing mods, because these already add tons of content to the game and are, while not finished, playable. And really fun too!

dlc sized mods for ds seems like a waste now. the game only allows 2 gigs of ram usage not even 4

you can run out of ram in shipwrecked in a new game if you just wander a lot with a few telescopes. if you activate debug you see memory usage just going up for no reason. nothing is cached and dumped it just keeps going up even if you stay still. windows steam version

also if you look through the dlc02 folder you see a lot of rog stuff that isnt even active. the point i guess is one day they will set it up so you can go back and forth between dlc01 content and dlc02 content but its all got to be in 1 folder lol

so if you have bought dlc01 you wasted money and if you play using dlc02 you wont have room for giant dlc like mods unless its just a bunch of text files overwriting game files. if there are a lot of textures forget it because even when it overwriting stuff all base content is loaded first then dlc then mods
