scoorpie Posted January 2, 2016 Share Posted January 2, 2016 Hi everyone...Is there possible to make mods without steam???i just dont get it,auto compiler from "dsmodtools" seems cant create .zip file that contain anim.bin-atlas_0.tex-build.bin...make me really desperate on creating those files... Please...please....can anyone share a crystal clear tutorial how to make "equippable items" such a weapon...Malacath tutorial about how to create a handslot-equippable-item from scrath is a great tutorials..but if only u download dsmodtools from steam... Did you make sure to place the spriter project in a folder called "exported"? Zwynx Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 Do you have the mod tools?Does the black window show up when you start don't starve? If not, the problem might be that the mod tools folder isn't located in the Steam/steamapps/common folder. If you have the mod tools, you can also check the autocompiler_log in the temp folder in the same location after you have compiled, to see if there were errors with compiling your .scml file. Or well... I'm also kind of new, but it at least tells you if there are images missing.
