I just gather bones by hammering spoiled fish from not picking up crabs. I just never really find a need for bone shards until late game, and by then I usually have a fair stack just by finding skeletons. But it was the first time I've ever seen one of these. I like that they are putting in stuff like this so every island isn't the same.
