The journal mod (request)

Yo!

 

so, it's night. you got nothing to do other than reorganize your inventory and stuff, or maybe you just found something that you need but you want to pick it up later inthe game (you can have the map icon mod, but it's not the same) or you just want to have a journal!

 

I'm not good at coding but if someone find this idea interesting, feel free to take it. 

 

i was thinking that it would be cool to write your personal journal. every survivor should have one!

That already exists. You can open the journal by pressing the home key and selecting the text editor of your choice.

There is a mod called "Wilson's Journal" (if memory serves). I believe it adds a starting item to Wilson that can be used once a day to restore sanity (the amount dependent on what quality of writing utensil you use, of which there are 3). This is probably not what you meant, though.
