Will shipwrecked break mods?

Recommended Posts

Not all of them will break necessarily, it's just that they won't load until the mod creator (or yourself) adds "shipwrecked_compatible = true" to the modinfo.lua file. Most mods on the workshop don't work with Shipwrecked because of this, it's an easy fix though

Some mods may actually break though at code level, or at least have issues. For example, I know RPG HUD is having issues displaying the boat inventory. The authors will of course update their mods eventually.

Yeah but what if I don't buy shipwrecked? will it still break? Also, does shipwrecked cost money? I hope it does, I don't want my mods to break, that way it doesn't auto install it.

Modders in general ensure their work is compatible with all version variations of the game, so nothing should break. And yes, SW costs money so you'll have to consciously purchase it, but I think you're just a little too worried about how the new game/DLC will affect the mods.

Oh yes, I do know that I worry a lot. Thanks for your help :) I appreciate it!
