FGLMakiseKurisu
So I've set up shop on a small island on my new world. Unfortunately, I failed to take into account flooding. Is there any way to keep water from creeping into my base? Sandbags maybe? Sidenote: Anyone got any idea what the electric isosceles is?
Toros
Yes, sandbags. The triangles are like wormholes.
Earthenwhispers
Sandbags work, but water will still flood in if you leave diagonal gaps. If X's are sandbags: XXXX X ^^^^ X ^^^^XXXX ^^^^ Works, but: XXX X ^^^^ X ^^^^XXX ^^^^ Let's water in through the corners.

Interesting, I had a wall that was working and I'm pretty sure it was like this X X X X X X XX I could be wrong though

It might have been a missed square though. If anyone could test and confirm, that would be sweet. It also might matter what direction the flooding comes from. I do know for sure that the diagram I posted worked for me in the playthrough I'm in atm, on day 76.
jacklul
Make sure there is no other way for water to come in, I had to make special 'entrance' to prevent water from coming in.
