Question about geometric placement

So how does this mod exactly works? as for now the only things that it do here is to to show a grid when i try to place something but nothing else, is that all this mod do? because i was expecting that he was going to plant a line of 10 grass plants( exemple) auto~making my life easier :/

@Cuelo, Geometric Placement helps with aligning plantables/structures to a grid(just as advertised) for a more cleaner looking base. For auto-planting, there are also mods of that. Using the search feature in the Don't Starve Workshop, you can find this mod called Auto Planting by Karas and Speed Plough by Liao. Cheers.
