RustyNayle
Hi guys, I have completed much of the code for a mod character, but am in need of an artist / animator / sound guy. With help from ZackReaver and DarkXero, I have completed a lot of code on Wanda, and already have very specific look in mind for her (plenty of images below to help you understand). These links below aren't click-bait (as one artist I messaged accused me of). The mod idea was originally posted here, where others have commented on it, http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/58411-wanda-the-druid-new-character-idea/ So far I have done everything before "Further Development", including custom stats, nature deficit disorder (overall negative dapperness / positive sanityaura from flowers), starting inventory (including lureplant fleshy bulb), near-vegetarian diet, nature scientist tech tree, honey / manure refining, magic trowel for digging cacti, and lureplant summoning scroll Early pre-release for alpha testing posted here, http://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/1347-wanda-natures-frenemy/ I also posted it on Steam here, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=549904379 , but it's only visible by friends, so you'll have to message me on here and send me a friend request there. Below I have attached my original concept art sketch, and the second draft. I wanted her eyebrows and lips to look like Emily from The Corpse Bride (drawing and CG copies), However, instead of those big round eyes, I want her to wear Tim Burton's shaded glasses (pic provided). I want flowers all through her hair in the Don't Starve style (attached), including a cactus flower behind her left ear (also attached). I found a great cartoon image someone else did of simple dreadlocks (attached). My friend Steve from NZ did a rough sketch of what he thought her profile pic could look like (attached) - this is good, but she doesn't have flowers all through her hair (she's just wearing a garland), I want her eyes to be dots like Wilson with the frames of her shaded glasses shaped like Tim Burton's. My original idea was for a Greencorps / Park Ranger uniform with big dorky shorts, but these clothes look ok I'm not that fussy. Also, I thought her character selection screen could show her carving her name into Porvata's sacred tree, that would be a nice touch. Ginga Ninja also did a sketch for her, which shows a lot of potential, and I especially like some of his other work I've seen (especially Charlie the Gardener), but he hasn't got back to me for a couple of weeks after doing this first quick sketch, so I think he might be a bit busy. Regardless, if we can bang out some quick images / anims / icons, then I can at least upload a proper alpha release, even though the sound, script, and some of the other things I wanted to code haven't been done yet. Tell me what you think? Cheers, Rusty

RustyNayle
Yep, thanks Vivalavie. I guess so far it is just phase 1 of the Wanda character and item art, eventually I will need the art / anim for my custom treeguards when I figure out how to code them

RustyNayle
Awesome, do you have experience with doing the sound for DST mods? I want Wanda to sound a bit like a Polish Suka,
TurtleSandwich
Depends on the plugins I have, I know I have a orchestral plugin with lots of instruments, violins, bass, violas, etc. Otherwise at home I've got a Alto Sax with no mute, and a old violin with missing fine tuners
