Questions/Suggestions for Gift limits

So I've heard a lot of talk about people being confused on the number of gifts they're supposed to get a week or just not receiving them very often, or receiving them too quickly so they don't get anything for days. I am one of the people who plays very regularly, so I myself get all my gifts within two days then spend the rest of the week waiting for the reset.

 

I think it would be a good idea, at least for the sake of bug catching, to give the players an idea on how often it is we are supposed to receive gifts/how many a week we get. This way we can give feedback on whether it's working properly or not.

 

Also I have a suggestion on how often people should receive them. I get frustrated receiving my first two gifts within thirty minutes of playing after the weekly reset, then getting the last two (so far it seems like the cap is four? some people are saying they've only gotten three) within a day. I feel like doing one gift drop a day would be a good number/cap, so people don't feel like it's been ages since they got something and they don't just get all their gifts quickly.

 

Anyone else have some input on how frequently you're receiving gifts/how often you think they should drop?

You're right about the fact that some players usually get two drops within 30 minutes then it takes ages to receive their third drop which is usually their final. But I don't really agree with the 1 gift a day thing since having this would make it harder for the players to get the items they wanted. Thus making them turn to trading which is pretty strict and hard to find what you want as people want specific items that others CAN NOT get due to the limit or waiting time of a gift.

 

If anything I'd suggest that the waiting time for a gift to be tuned to at least 30 minutes to an hour or just increasing the limit of gift drops to 6 or 7 making it bearable and making the time worth waiting for.

 

So in conclusion, either have the waiting time 30 minutes to an hour, or just increase the limit of drops to 6 or 7.
