[Help] Modding a Character

Hello, I'm Surrik, and I'm very new to modding and coding in general, and I'm modding one of my characters into Don't Starve. As of now, all of the base items are done (ie. Health, Hunger, Sanity, ect. ) but now I am moving onto the more complicated ideas I have for her and I am having trouble figuring out what to type, and where to type it, and I would really appreciate some help!

 

-->The Perks

      -Night Vision (done)

      -Gains sanity while tracking

      -Ignores if food is stale, and gains half of the benefits to her stats when it's consumed, spoiled food still acts as spoiled food

 

--> The Cons

      -Hydrophobic, her sanity drains quickly when she is in the rain

      -Eating monster meat deals more stat drain than normal

Hydrophobia is a physical property (repelling water), you probably meant aquaphobia (fear of water)

Or pluviophobia, the fear of rain.

Hydrophobia is not only a physical property of repelling water, but also an extreme or irrational fear of water, but Aquaphobia works too, haha.

You likely mean Hydrophobe or Hydrophobicity, Hydrophobia is the abnormal or irrational dread of water. Hydrophobicity is the trait that allows repelling of water!
