My friends are getting problems on enter the caves

Recommended Posts

I have very little to go on with just that image, and simply because I haven't tried opening my own dedicated server to the public. But here are things to consider when it comes to master/slave servers based on what I've read/found:

  • Did you properly generate the server_token.txt and have it in both Dedicated Server folders?
  • Are the clusterkey in both settings.ini the same?
  • Are the master_port in both settings.ini the same?
  • Are the steam_master_server_port ,steam_authentication_port, and server_port different on both settings.ini uniquely different from each other?
  • Is your Don't Starve Together Dedicated Server opt'd in to cavesbeta?
  • Are your friends' Don't Starve Together game opt'd in to cavesbeta?
  • Are the servers closed before you started editing the server's settings.ini?
  • Are your ports properly forwarded on your router?

That's all I can think about for now and just to be able to get more people to help you I'd suggest you attach the whole log files from both servers. Other people may be able to solve your issue faster. This is probably all the help I can give you.

Good luck, cheers.
