Some questions about Caves

So my understanding is that the new branch for testing caves is going to be dedicated servers only.  I'm fine with that.  It is why I'm posting my questions here instead of elsewhere.

 

My setup is that I currently run two different dedicated servers, one with Citadel Servers and one with Killservers, I'm quite content with both vendors and two suits my current needs.  (currently one runs a Survival server and the other runs a Wilderness server that I regen every week or two)

 

I would very much like to participate in the testing with caves, which leads to a few questions:

 

1.  Will it be possible to link together two dedicated servers hosted by different companies?

 

2.  Is it going to be possible to link more than one server to a given cave server?  (if I rented a third server could I have two different servers linking to a single cave system, thus allowing transfer between three worlds?)

 

3.  With the pulling in the Shipwrecked material Capy is working on is there any move towards being able to get into a cave from a Shipwrecked world?  (I kind of doubt it since Shipwrecked is sounding single-player, but if so, and if you could have three servers linked, you could move from Shipwrecked <> Cave <> DST ROG!)

 

4.  Will I be able to have different game-styles linked together?  e.g.:   have a Wilderness overworld and a Survival cave.

1) we need wait thursday for more information about server dedicated on cave (im not sure you need two server dedicated, i think it's 2 servers on the game but run in one server dedicated but im not sure at 100%)

3) Shipwrecked at the moment and it is expected on don't starve solo, not planned by the devs on don't starve together
