Why not make Shipwrecked mountable?

Recommended Posts

If you don't mean to offend, then don't say stuff like: "Your post made no sense, it was gibberish." Because that's offensive.

What he means basically is, Shipwrecked will be a standalone, and if you have DS AND SW, you'd be able to have SW content IN DS, all of it.

Y'kniw that HL is a game and GMOD is another, right? But if you have both then you have some HL content in GMOD, eh?

It's basically what he's suggesting, but then all the SW content existing in DS as well, not just some stuff

Oooh, well that makes more sense. Not sure ho I feel about it, though... but I guess if there are people who would like to play it as standalone could play it as standalone? Though I wouldn't want to have it as a separate game in my own library, so may be upon installing the game after you've purchased it, you could choose whether you want to install it as a separate game or a DLC? That could work perhaps?

And hei, I'm just being honest about it sounding like gibberish, not meaning to offend anyone, but truth sometimes does hurt.

EDT: No that I think about it, if I had Shiprecked activated as a DLC on the original game, I would prefer that I would spawn in a grassy biome and have every normal + RoG biomes in one place and the Shipwrecked biome islands to be scattered around the world with the ocean in between ,so in order to get to those biomes, you'd need to go on a ship first, which might make more sense lore wise? Idk, but I really wouldn't want to go through some sort of entrance just to get to the Shipwrecked world like you do with caves.

I feel that would be annoying to your friends on steam every time you switch worlds

"UnionGaming has started playing Don't Starve"

"UnionGaming has started playing Don't Starve Shipwrecked"

"UnionGaming has started playing Don't Starve"

"UnionGaming has started playing Don't Starve Shipwrecked"

You get the point right? It would be easier to just make it DLC

It won't change game though. That's what you're misunderstanding. It works like it is a DLC.

You made it sound like if Shipwrecked stays standalone, it switches games when you switch worlds

No, check out how gmod mounts stuff. It uses the game directory as a DLC directory, and loads SW stuff into DS exe.
