GoreMotel
Hi! I'm interested in knowing exactly what ports have to be open for the game and SteamCMD to function properly. There are many places where some ports are listed, including some topics on this forum, but they don't all agree on what those ports are exactly. Could we get a definitive answer on this? In my case, I've opened UDP ports 27000 - 27030 and UDP port 4380 for SteamCMD and UDP port 10999 for DST. Is that enough, or do I actually have unneeded ports open? I've read in some places that UDP port 8766 should also be open, is that the case? Do any TCP ports need to be open? Edit: And what about these? Steam backend for dedicated servers. Steam authentication port defaults to: 8766, Steam master server updater port: 27016.Ports can be configured through command line by adding:-steam_authentication_port 123456 -steam_master_server_port 123457or through settings.ini, under the [network] headingsteam_authentication_port = 123456steam_master_server_port = 123457Taken from here. Developer nome Posted August 21, 2015 Developer Share Posted August 21, 2015 Personally I've only ever had to open inbound connectivity on 10999 (the port the DST dedicated server is listening on). SteamCMD has always worked fine with only outbound connectivity for me.
GoreMotel
Thanks! Everything does seem to run fine with just UDP port 10999 open.
