sirknightdude Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Bug Submission: Category: Gameplay Issue Title: I can't attack dragonfly (2nd phase) Issue Description: I start attacking it in the first phase regardless of range, then I can't attack dragonfly (2nd phase) when he gets up and starts making larvae. My character just wiggles back and forth on top of it. Everything else can be attacked. No issue from other players in the game. This has happened 3 times to me. InsaneAdam Posted August 18, 2015 Share Posted August 18, 2015 Yea some crazy stuff happened... I COUDLN'T attack the dragon fly. I had the same issuse like ClownBaby Except I was Wigfrid. Was using MINIMAL client mods during incident. (where's my beef, Geo Placement, Alawys on Status and Mini Map Hud) What is causing this? My guess is that it's not a HUGE issue because How ofter do people farm Dragon Fly. But this happened about 4 times on same server same playthrough and I just wanted to report it. I run in place, push him around but can't touch him. I've tried logging, removing mods completely... *sigh*.... nothing works. I just have to miss out on the fun. Quyzbuk Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Had this finally happen to me yesterday while playing as Woodie, but then I had something new happen. Granted I had just broken him so the dragonfly just was standing around anyway, but I left him with another player, ran far out of aggro/reset range and came back, and suddenly the hitbox became massive. Thing is though, while the attack animation was playing, I wasn't actually hitting him apparently, as I spent a good in-game half - 3/4ths of a day smacking it with a ham shank (the usual time I spend and then some to kill him with the weapon), and nothing happened. Then, different server, new team of players, the same thing happened again, but this time during the first phase, so I had to manually position myself to a spot where it looked like I should be hitting. Thankfully, I do believe my hits were registering since we stunned him repeatedly and acquired scales. Second phase though, I was not able to fight him again. I doubt character choice had anything to do with it, but in the off chance it did, I had been switching between werebeaver and normal forms prior to the fight to tear through forests and overstock on logs.
