Suggestion for DST -- Leaving Notes

I'd like a feature that would allow online players to leave notes for incoming offline players.  Perhaps a mailbox we can build with a "mail" flag to show there's a message.

 

If I play while everyone else is gone.  I'd like to leave a note saying if I set out traps in a new spot.  Or found the beefalo.  Or where the bosses are.  Or just say when I'll be back, or what I need supplies to build ... whatever.

 

Since we can't pause -- it should be only short messages.

I do wish the sign thing was a bit more like something akin to dark souls though, easy way to cross communicate with players to visit that area in the future, then again there ain't much to say since most things that kill you are pretty obvious and always the same.

I usually just use them to say:

 

Welcome to Aspa's Rest Stop. Rest, Keep Warm, Stay A while.

 

I seldom come back to them burned or destroyed... all the logs/fuel I stocked up there usually get used up... but at least they didn't destroy the place.

If it's to make a vest with, that's rather wasteful.  The trunk gives great hunger and health values, while the vest will generally take over your backpack slot (unless you're using ExtraEquipSlots).  A thermal stone lets you manage winter rather easily.

I know,but usually,by the time you got in the server.Their are not many resources left unless you go into their biome.

Btw,is that alaskan malamute or husky?
