Hillington Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 I have tried the suggested actions from the widget that pops up telling me it is out of date: >Verifying game cache>Restarting Steam>Restarting PC>Checking for Steam updates I would appreciate and advice you can give. I received the game from having Dont Starve before June 3rd, and this is the first time I have tried to launch together. subzero22 Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Lately the game has glitched on me at times so while I'm in the game on the start screen and it says my game is out of date. Just closing the game and re-opening it fixes it even though the game didn't update. I'm not sure what causes this though. But if your game truely is out of date and steam isn't updating it then maybe uninstalling then reinstalling it would work?
