briandamaged Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Howdy! How would I go about verifying that someone actually owns a given KU_ username? Does Klei provide something akin to OAuth support? The reason I'm asking: I'm creating an external application that will help users provide better quality-control for their servers. Ideally, I would like the user accounts for this application to be linked directly to Klei's Don't Starve Together accounts. This will allow users to manage their reputations more effectively. Developer nome Posted July 28, 2015 Developer Share Posted July 28, 2015 We don't have anything of that sort at the moment, but I'm intrigued! Let me know more details and we'll see what we can do to enable this. Main reason we don't provide OAuth is that we don't provide auth at all. At the moment with the game being steam only you'd use steam's existing OAuth and then we'd have to expose our KU <-> SteamID APIs to you.
