burnbabyburn71
This has been a recent issue for me, all of a sudden I cannot connect to my own server on my local network. Other people have no trouble connecting to my server on the internet though. I have tried:- Using a different port (10998 instead of 10999)- Updating the server- Disabling the new steam groups feature Not really sure what else to do here, is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I've attached my settings.ini file (removed name, description and password) and log.txt file Thanks in advanced for any helpsettings.inilog.txt

burnbabyburn71
Update: Still no luck, I still can't see my server on LAN - I've updated again to the latest version of the dedicated server (and DST) - Added "-steam_authentication_port 12345" and "-steam_master_server_port 12346" to start_dst.sh Something new has popped up after these changes though [s_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed./home/buildbot/buildslave/steam_rel_client_linux/build/src/clientdll/applicationmanager.cpp (2990) : Assertion Failed: CApplicationManager::GetMountVolume: invalid index/home/buildbot/buildslave/steam_rel_client_linux/build/src/clientdll/applicationmanager.cpp (2990) : Assertion Failed: CApplicationManager::GetMountVolume: invalid index/home/buildbot/buildslave/steam_rel_client_linux/build/src/clientdll/applicationmanager.cpp (3118) : Assertion Failed: m_vecInstallBaseFolders.Count() > 0 Not sure what this means, could this be what's causing the problem? burnbabyburn71
Still have no idea what went wrong, but I fixed the problem by completely reinstalling the DST dedicated server.
Developer nome Posted July 30, 2015 Developer Share Posted July 30, 2015 Sometimes this is a router issue. To test, try c_connect() instead of using the UI. If it works, then you've at least identified the problem. We're working on something to make this easier!

Seeing as though reinstalling the dedicated server fixed the issue I have my doubts that it was a router issue. Maybe something got corrupted somehow. We're working on something to make this easier! Looking foward to it!
