new anim folder not being compiled

Recommended Posts

I'm using the following tutorial:

http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/46849-tutorial-using-extended-sample-character-template/

I have everything finished, and I have the items in the 'anim' folder deleted, but when I go to play and (I assume) it'd auto-compile, it never generates anything in the folder, so I load the game with my character invisible.

I've tried the mod tools compiler but for some reason nothing works.

Could anyone help?

the anim folder is, well, the animation folder. it's what the game uses

also try using the cmd and autocompile it from there to see if it's auto compiling or not

also, try posting your mod here and we'll look into it and try to point out the errors

but for now no one can really help you unless you post the mod's files here

@Scatterbuns,

in SteamApps\common\temp u can find the log of the autocompiler. look to the bottom of the log, whether there's an error, that stopped the compilier. if it's from another mod, just unsubscribe and delete that mod. else, fix the error.

Welp, as most of these things turn out, I'm an idiot. The autocompiler log spit up that I misnamed a file, and I was changing the Don't Starve Together files as I didn't take notice that it was compiling the original Don't Starve.

The fix: I named the file correctly, compiled, and it's all butter. Thanks everyone!
