jgoldyn
Hello, me and a friend are having a bit of an issue with setting a message that pops up whenever a new person joins. We wanted to include a welcome message for the people to see, but we ran into a snag with our command. We are using TheWorld:ListenForEvent("ms_playerjoined",function()c_announce("[Welcome! Follow the signs to base!"])end)I am not really skilled with the ListenForEvent commands and am not sure what I did wrong. It pops up with a nil error so I am not sure if I am supposed to add or get rid of any text. Any ideas?

MelissaH33
TheWorld:ListenForEvent("ms_playerspawn", function(world) world:DoTaskInTime(1, function() c_announce("Welcome! Follow the signs to base!") end) end) Love it when it was so obvious. Thanks!!!
