Okey, I've created my mod for DST, but with the new RoG update the "speech" section is now not usable becasue of the new lines added. I've remade every single quote of my character from the original Wilson speech, what is cannot be used now, because of the missing parts. The game automatically uses Wilson's speech files for the missing sentences, what's a big problem here, because my character have a totally different style of communicating. I would ask, that is there a safe way to update the speech file without crashing my mod. It was a lot of work to recreate all of these quotes, (almost 1000 sentences) and I would not start it again from scratch If it's possible.

Thanks for the help

Hey!

I had the speech file from the Extended Sample Character Mod, the DST version. With the new update, new lines came in and the old speech file wasnt covering all of them. For example: The "leafy tree". The game uses the base quote of Wilson's, because there is no sentence in my character's speech file. I've tried to add the sentences from the don't starve RoG speech file (single player) to my original character's dst speech file, copy pasting them, but it crashed my game. Can someone help? :)

I'll post it here, but I ask everyone, treat it personal please. This mod isn't finished yet (actually this is the final step I miss (and the one little problem that I don't know how to upload a mod to Steam Workshop, a little help in this would be appreciated too :-)).

This speech file crashes my game upon starting. (the first, unchanged version did only once, when I clicked on a mole. Maybe coz the file wan't RoG ready back then?) I've probably did something wrong, I'm not good with scripting. :-) Please, can someone help me indentify the issue?

These aren't quite big sentences, but it keeps the character as I wanted. (Probably someone will know, who is this little guy) :-)

@CurseWolf,

Whoops, I forgot to add in my first post that you're also missing a comma on line 970.

You're getting that error because the Lua is malformed, and so that file isn't able to load at all.
