_Q_ Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Its about time to make it more of survival game, and add some more factors that can speed up or cause the death of a character.Spider attacks should be able to poison the player, Hound attacks should cause bleeding - its all simple damage over time, its reasonable since you can quicly run away from any monsters. Next step would be adding some health conditions, you can catch cold or other disease that will make you weaker, or make your sanity/hunger drain faster etc. Currently survival is granted, there are no long term problems its all oversymplified and gets quite borig quickly. I'm looking forward to status effects caused by weather, like frostbites or skin burns.To be implemented in this kind of game though, status effects would need a lot of balancing and a solid design.
