So I am trying to reposition a characters head using spriter (I assume this is the way), because we have alot of hair we have to fit in. This leads to the characters head floating high above the point, eg: http://prntscr.com/6jl9b3

When I move the head down in spriter (like this: http://prntscr.com/6jla1a), it doesnt change in game.

Any help or way to fix the chars head?

The reason why this isn't working is because you're only using the build in game and the build is nothing, but the skin. The location of each object just as head, body, hands, etc are all located in the animation itself.

How would I go about editing this?

The default pivot position needs to be accurately set. That is what pieces everything together in the animation file.

Thanks! One last q: How can I change the layer in which the hair is? I dragged it to the bottom (http://prntscr.com/6jnbx2) but it doesnt change in game? What am I missing here? Thanks again!

@IntensuwweSoois, see the second post of this thread for the answer to that question.

I did, Im a bit confused, what exactly am I doing worig here? Ive set the pivots and moved them to the correct Z order, but they still dont change in game.

You're changes in Z-Order will never take affect because that is in the animation file. You can't alter the animation file unless you create new animations.

The only reason changing the default pivot position affects where things show is because that is what the animations use from the build file to show how everything is "supposed" to load correctly.

Alright, so how can I go about changing the "depth" of the hair, it is pretty vital

We will find a way around the textures, thanks for the help

if you find a way, let us all know, since, everyone has been working on a way to find out...oh......about a year now? from everything from top modders, to us new guys. Best thing you can do is grin and bear it, and use some shading techniques on the head to make it "look" like there are bangs, or pigtails, or whatever you can think of. ANd I believe a few top scripters are trying to even build some sort of workaround code wise.

But this has been an issue for a long time.

Now in saying that, you can use the krane tool, and extract the animation, but being i've tried to do that, you can get some unwanted results. and is at this moment, not worth the payout.

But if you find a way, maybe you picked up on something none of the rest of us know about, and you should share with the rest of us.
