I've heard there are issues with it sometimes proxying otherwise (which would make it lag). But also the quality of the computer hosting has a huge impact on how laggy the server is (it's not a lightweight server like in an FPS or something, the server is a complete simulation, so it has to do a lot of work). You can try using the launch options -threaded_render and -threaded_physics, though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pyromailmann Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 I think I can do a simple equation on the amount of lag.Computer Host's PC Specs + Distance + Internet Service Provider (might not be an issue, but I don't know for sure) = Total Lag.
