Hannemaster
Hi,I've been trying to build my own character. Everything is going very well except for one problem. The colors of the character ingame are way lighter than the image files. When I open the tex files with texview they seem normal. here's a screenshot of the problem, next to it I pasted the photoshop image quality. does anyone have a clue of what i'm doing wrong? many thanks in advance. SenL
Yea I have this problem too. So weird.I saved it png 32-bit using paint.net.In-game, it became brighter (looks worse imo).
Hannemaster
I used png-24 and png-8 with photoshop cs6. Don't have a clue what the problem is.
Hannemaster
I noticed other characters from the community have the same problem. When I install for example the Wilburn character mod I notice the colors fading as well. (in comparison with the actual tex files)
rezecib
@Hannemaster, Try turning off bloom (Edit: I mean in your game settings)? I guess it may be related to almost all of the characters being mostly white. Edited March 12, 2015 by rezecib

DarkXero
Well, this happens to all characters, including Klei's.Wilson is not pale white as in the portrait, he has a small yellow tint ingame. Perhaps it's not because of the character but due to the tint that gets applied on each season (slight yellow on autumn, slight green on spring, slight blue on winter, slight orange in summer).
