Thropian
Me and a friend are attempting to make mod characters, but have hit issues with the way the appearances are. We used the template characters given on these forums (( http://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/202-sample-mods/ )) and the tools to convert that template image to tex file. But when I replaced the wilson.zip file in dont_starve/data/anim the character becomes invisible or I get this: http://i.imgur.com/FZf2sw8.png I'm not sure why either happens, but any help on getting the character to show up properly would be appreciated. (I attached the atlas-0.tex that I created, and the build.bin from the template.))wilson.zip
Sabeku
I don't think I can help you with your issue, but I want to recommend the Extended Sample Character Tutorial as another option, since I believe its a more in-depth than the sample mod. I use gimp, I put all of my files in their own folder, and aligned them with the templates. Use layers to align, don't forget to delete the templates layer, replace and repeat five million times.Remember to resize (I generally add a 1, or 2 to the resize number)Align everything as best as you canSave THAT file as a clean file, in case you screw something upCopy your clean file and work from there Then, copy that file, roll it into a taco, and deep fry it.file and tweak your stuffCry a bitLearn stuffTell everyone they're prettyReinstall counterstrikeThat should do it.
