I'm a ghost and I'm invisible on my screen (not sure if it affects others). This is too spooky for me. Zillvr Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 I tried to replicate this just now, but it just won't happen for me. Do you remember what specific mods you had active while you were on that server? That could also be a possible cause. Also I'm curious as to what character you were playing as cause I was playing Willow when I tried(but failed) to replicate it on my own player-hosted server(non-dedicated). Zillvr Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Just did some more testing. I finally got to replicate the bug properly. Things I found out are as follows:Bug occurs when you force-examine anything in the world while your ghost character is moving to a location you clicked.The bug is not character specific, and I would suspect that the bug happens to all ghost characters. I tried it with Willow as a ghost and @PandaWaffles did it as Wendy.Server mode doesn't affect the occurrence of the bug, as long as ghost players can exist in the world. Which excludes Wilderness Mode. There is no actual difference between Survival and Endless mode for this bug.It feels as though this is a client-side bug only, as I wasn't able to replicate the bug as a host before.Turning invisible only occurs on the side of the player who does it. I replicated the bug in front of other players and they still CAN see me as a ghost and I didn't turn invisible from their point of view.Hope that's enough information to find a fix for that visual bug.
